I am

I am who I choose to be. I cannot change or regret all of the things past. I am just who I am. Denying or persecuting myself is the only irrational act of having to surround yourself or your thoughts with unthinkable thoughts.
I admit it--I have been in the dark side for so long that I failed to see the beautiful. The simplest things in life are what has to matter. The joys of surrounding yourself with family, simply isn't the question. In other words, having family isn't just like something you thrown on and dispose of the next because you are tired of the same old thing. It is something that builds over time.
And if time means, all of it. It means all of it. Investing your time in family doesn't really make it any less harder. But it sure does a whole lot at the end of the day.
